After its best non-conference performance in program history, Liberty women's lacrosse will begin its quest for a Big South Conference title on Saturday, as it welcomes Presbyterian to town.

Saturday's contest between Liberty (7-3) and Presbyterian (2-8) will get under way in what will be each team's respective Big South opener.

The Lady Flames enter the weekend with high hopes for the conference slate following seven wins out of league action, including an 11-7 home victory over William & Mary on Wednesday night. Presbyterian fell, 20-10, to Fresno State on Monday in Clinton, S.C.

Series History
Liberty has defeated Presbyterian in six of the nine all-time meetings between the two programs. In 2017, the Lady Flames topped the Blue House, 18-8, in Clinton, S.C., in their Big South opener, April 1. On that day, Brianna McCaffrey led the charge with four goals, while Abby Britton scored three times in the victory.
