Due to inclement weather forecast for Charlottesville, Va., Wednesday's softball game between Liberty and Virginia has been postponed. The postponement in one of several schedule adjustments announced for the time.
The game, which was originally supposed to be contested at Virginia's stadium, The Park, on Wednesday, will now be played as the second game of a doubleheader between Liberty and Virginia, May 1 at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium. Game one will begin at 4 p.m.
Liberty has added a doubleheader at Kennesaw State to its schedule. The Lady Flames will play at Kennesaw State in a twin bill on March 21 with the first contest set to begin at 4 p.m.
Liberty's game at North Carolina A&T next Tuesday, originally scheduled for 4 p.m., has been shifted to a 3 p.m. start time.
Due to national television coverage, a pair of Liberty's remaining games have seen time changes. The April 8 game between Liberty and Longwood in Farmville, Va., will now start at 5 p.m. due to being aired nationally on ESPNU.
Liberty's home doubleheader on the final day of the regular season, May 5, will begin at 2 p.m., as the firsts game will be an ESPN3.com exclusive broadcast.
