The Starting 5 - Liberty's Top Storylines
• Big South leader Liberty (20-9, 15-2 Big South) will close out the regular season with a Saturday matinee against High Point (16-12, 10-7 Big South) at the Vines Center.

• The Lady Flames need either a win or a Radford loss to claim the outright Big South regular-season title and the No. 1 seed for next week's Big South Championship.

• Liberty will honor seniors Nene Johnson and Sheana Vega prior to tipoff. Vega helped the Lady Flames claim the Big South regular-season and tournament titles as a freshman in 2015 and has now helped Liberty win at least a share of the 2018 Big South regular-season championship as a senior.

• Five-time Big South Freshman of the Week Ashtyn Baker has scored in double figures in four straight games and has made 18 of her last 20 field goal attempts.

• Keyen Green has performed well against High Point during her career, averaging 22.3 ppg and 11.0 rpg versus the Panthers. She went for 19 points and 14 rebounds at HPU on Jan. 30.

Notes and Anecdotes - Liberty vs. High Point
• Liberty and High Point entered their Jan. 30 matchup at the Millis Center tied for the Big South lead at 7-1. The Lady Flames have won eight of their last nine games, including that night's 65-42 victory. Conversely, the Panthers have lost six of their last nine outings.
• High Point owns the Big South's top offense, averaging 65.4 ppg this season. Meanwhile, Liberty is holding Big South opponents to a conference-low 48.7 ppg. On Jan. 30, the Lady Flames limited the Panthers to a season-low 42 points.
• The Lady Flames' 23-point win at High Point on Jan. 30 was a bit of an anomaly in the teams' head-to-head series. Twelve of the last 18 meetings between the Lady Flames and Panthers have been decided by single digits.
• High Point boasts the reigning Big South Player of the Year, Emma Bockrath. Liberty limited Bockrath to four points and zero rebounds on Jan. 30.
• Liberty topped High Point 74-64 in the 2015 Big South Championship title game, but the Lady Flames' Sheana Vega and the Panthers' Kat Harris are the only two players remaining on their teams from that matchup.
• If Liberty can wrap up the Big South's No. 1 seed, it could face High Point on back-to-back Saturdays. The Panthers are locked in at No. 4, meaning the two teams could be in line to match up in the semifinal round next Saturday.

On This Date
• Liberty is 5-2 all-time on March 3.

• The Lady Flames have not played on March 3 since 2007, when they lost their regular-season finale at Radford by a 77-54 count.
• Liberty is 71-48 all-time in March, including 63-23 under Carey Green and 1-1 last season.

Lady Flames in the Big South
• Liberty is alone atop the Big South standings at 15-2.

• The Lady Flames need a win or a Radford loss on Saturday to wrap up the outright Big South regular-season title and the No. 1 seed for the Big South Championship.
• The Lady Flames have recorded 10 or more Big South wins for 19 straight seasons. Chattanooga, Green Bay and Stanford are the nation's only other teams which entered 2017-18 with an active streak of 18 straight seasons with 10+ wins within the same conference.

Lady Flames at the Vines Center
• Liberty is 11-0 at home this season and is looking for its first 12-0 start at the Vines Center since the 2007-08 Lady Flames went a perfect 13-0 on their home court.

• Through Tuesday's games, Liberty is tied for the 16th-longest active home winning streak in the nation at 11 games.
• Liberty has posted its 11th home winning streak of 10 games or longer in program history and its first since a 13-game streak spanning Nov. 18, 2014 to Nov. 16, 2015.
• Liberty is the only remaining Big South team with a perfect home record this season.
