Before the Flames started their third full week of spring football practice, Liberty Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach Joe Dailey met with the media on Tuesday to discuss the team's workouts.

Dailey had a lot to talk about during the interview following the success his offensive units had during the Flames' first scrimmage of the spring, last Saturday. Liberty racked up more than 600 yards of total offense on 80-plus plays and scored eight touchdowns (six passing, two rushing).

The Flames will pass the midpoint of their spring practice workouts schedule this week with spring practices No. 8 to No. 10 of their 15 spring practice sessions. As previously announced, the Flames will not hold an annual spring football game due to the expansion construction taking place at Williams Stadium.

During its spring practice workouts, the Flames practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (5:45 to 7:45 p.m.) and Saturday mornings/afternoons. All of Liberty's spring practice workouts are closed to the general public and media.

During its five-week spring practice workouts, will continue to provide insight from the Flames' players and coaches as the team prepares for its first season of FBS competition. Be sure to check back each week for more coverage of Flames football.
