The event tips off the 2017-18 Big South men's and women's basketball seasons and begins with a luncheon at noon followed by interview sessions with local, regional and national media outlets starting at 1 p.m.
Starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning, fans can follow the day's activities via the hashtag #BSCMediaDay, as well as view content specifically for the Big South's Facebook Live, Instagram and Snapchat accounts throughout the day.
Fans can also keep an eye on Liberty's men's (@LibertyMBB) and women's basketball (@LibertyWBB) on Twitter and Instagram for updates on the Flames and Lady Flames.
As part of the event, the conference will announce its annual preseason poll and preseason all-conference teams in a video presentation during the luncheon. The preseason poll and preseason all-conference teams will be available at www.BigSouthSports.com starting at 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
Again this year, the Big South Network will broadcast interviews with each team's head coach and one student-athlete as part of a live show hosted by Mike Hogewood and Evan Lepler starting at approximately 1 p.m. Liberty's interviews will begin at 1:10 p.m. In addition, ESPN3 will carry the show for the fifth consecutive year.
For the first time, student-athletes from each team will be in attendance at Media Day -- including the preseason All-Conference honorees, and will be featured in Social Media coverage as well as the live interviews on BSN/ESPN3.
