For the third straight week, the Liberty men's cross country team is ranked No. 10 in the Southeast Region, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
All 15 teams in this week's regional poll remain unchanged, led by Furman (No. 1), Virginia (No. 2), Virginia Tech (No. 3) and NC State (No. 4).
After taking last weekend off from competition, Liberty will face its stiffest competition of the season to date on Friday. That day, the Flames and Lady Flames will compete in the Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pa., for the first time since 2010.
The Liberty men's squad is entered in Friday's gold 8K race at 11 a.m., where the Flames will take on 20 other regionally ranked teams. The Lady Flames will compete in the brown 6K race at 1 p.m.
