As the days of summer carry on, the Liberty men's basketball newcomers continue to settle in Lynchburg as they develop chemistry on and off the court. LFSN's Alan York sat down with freshman, Elijah Cuffee to discuss adjusting to life as a Liberty Flame.

Throughout the interview, Cuffee talks about moving from West Virginia to Lynchburg. Before even playing a game at Liberty, Cuffee is used to playing in Lynchburg as he finished up the final year of his high school career at Liberty Christian Academy playing for Wade Mawdesley. At LCA, he played along fellow incoming freshman Jay Barber. Prior to LCA, Cuffee played at Poca high school in Poca, W. Va. During his time playing for the Dots, Cuffee scored over 1,300 points and was a three-time West Virginia All-State selection. In his final campaign at Poca, Cuffee averaged 19.8 points per game as his team finished as the Class AA state runner-up.
