Game On recently told the inspiring story of Liberty women's cross country/track & field senior Terrill Zentmeyer.
Zentmeyer, who originally made the team as a walk-on, went on to become a team captain and one of the Lady Flames' top runners.
As a senior, the Odessa, Fla., native earned All-Big South honors with a fifth-place finish at the 2016 Big South Cross Country Championships. She also placed fourth in both the 5K and 10K at the 2017 Big South Outdoor Track & Field Championships in her final meet as a Lady Flame.
Zentmeyer, whose younger brother James also runs cross country and track & field at Liberty, recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
