Throughout the women's soccer season, fans will have an opportunity to get to know the Lady Flames a bit better through a question-and-answer session. Today, the series continues with sophomore midfielder Christina McDonald.
A native of Rosewell, Ga., Christina McDonald has played in 12 games this season, with eight starts. The midfielder has two assists, including one on the game-winning goal against Francis Marion this past Thursday. Last season, the sophomore midfielder saw action in eight contests, recording an assist.
My earliest soccer memory is … my brother and me in the backyard practicing. I was in the second grade and I remember him not letting me go inside until I kicked the ball above a certain height.
Other than soccer, my favorite sport to play is … volleyball.
When I have an hour of free time, I like to … sleep or spend time with friends.
If I won a million dollars, I would … retire early!!!
If someone would look at the songs on my iPod, I would be embarrassed for them to see I have this song … "United States of Whatever".
It is not good for you, but I still eat … all and any kind of ice cream.
A place I would like to visit one day is … Greece.
If you could eat dinner with three other people (living or dead), who would they be and why? David Beckham, because he is so hot, C.S. Lewis, because he intellectually and theologically deep, and Brad Paisley, so he could sing to me.
Who is your favorite Bible character and why? David, he is the example of what God can do when you surrender yourself to him, and is also the example of how forgiving God is.
When surfing the Internet, what website do you visit the most frequently? Facebook
What is something about you that other people don't know? I LOVE to DRAW!
What is the best part about being on the Liberty Women's Soccer team? Besides learning so much from our wise coaches and having the best comrades anyone could find this side of the Mississippi, as well as being famous and well known across campus, I would have to go with the sweet gear we get, of course!
Who is your favorite Superhero and why? Superman, he does it all and looks good doing it.
What cartoon character are you most like and why? Jerry, from Tom and Jerry, cause I am sneaky!
After graduation, I would like to … work in labor and delivery at a hospital and start a family.
