The Liberty women's tennis team concludes its fall season at the SMU Invite this weekend.

The three day-invitational, which will be held at the SMU Tennis Complex in Dallas, Texas, features four teams in the top 75 of the 2015-16 ITA rankings.

Participating teams include: host SMU (highest ranking last year: 49), Liberty, Tulsa (highest ranking last year: 21), Wyoming (highest ranking last year: 74), Wichita State (highest ranking last year: 14) and Loyola Marymount.

Six Liberty players will partake in the event – junior Evangeline Crist, sophomore Anna Dollar, sophomore Rebekah Anderson, sophomore Aleksandra Panchenko, senior Emily Groeneveld and senior Mariely Hassey. Each player will compete at both singles and doubles.

The format for the invite is a hidden dual, in which the Lady Flames will square off with one team at a time.

Day one of the invite will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday. Play will start on 10 a.m., Saturday and Sunday.

Fall Season Inside Look
The Lady Flames have experienced a good deal of success in doubles this fall, with a 17-15 overall record. Crist and Dollar have proven to be the strongest unit at 7-2, while Anderson and Panchenko are 5-3.

Groeneveld and Hassey have an even 2-2 record as a doubles pairing, while sophomore Audrey Brown and freshman Eugenia Camacho are 2-2 as doubles partners, earning both wins at the Wake Forest Invitational, Sept. 30-Oct. 1.

Hassey leads Liberty with four singles wins this fall. She went 3-1 at the Wake Forest Invitational, taking third place at B singles.

Anderson and Groeneveld each own three singles wins.
