The 2016-17 Liberty women's basketball team will feature a lot of new faces. This summer, Nick Pierce and Alan York of the Liberty Flames Sports Network spent some time with each of the Lady Flames' newcomers. The series continues today with freshman Kierra Johnson-Graham.
Johnson-Graham graduated from Tucker High School in Atlanta, Ga. As a senior, the 5-11 wing player averaged 12.1 ppg and 8.7 rpg, helping the Tigers finish as Georgia AAAAAA state runners-up.
Johnson-Graham spent her first three years at South Atlanta High School, where she was coached by her mother, Akisha Graham. She posted 15.7 ppg, 10.5 rpg, 5.0 apg, 4.9 spg and 2.1 bpg during her junior season, contributing to South Atlanta's first-ever perfect regular season.
A four-time all-state performer, Johnson-Graham earned honorable mention accolades as a freshman, second team honors as a sophomore and first team recognition as both a junior and senior.
