2016 Inside Lacrosse Women's All-Rookie Team

Honors continue to roll in for Liberty's Kayla Foster, as the freshman attacker has been named to the 2016 Inside Lacrosse Women's All-Rookie Team.

The 2016 Inside Lacrosse Women's All-Rookie team is comprised of 25 players, nine attackers, seven midfielders, six defenders and three goalies.

Recently, Foster was named the 2016 VaSID Rookie of the Year, honoring the top freshman Division I women's lacrosse player in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She was also a VaSID All-State second-team honoree.

Foster led the Lady Flames' program during the 2016 season, finishing her first year at Liberty with 51 points and 29 assists. Both marks rank second in the program's single-season record book.

The attacker from Sewickley, Pa., ranked third on the team with 22 goals and finished the year with a 78.3 shots-on-goal shooting percentage (36-of-46). She was also named the Big South Freshman of the Year and an All-Big South second-team honoree.
