The Flames wrapped up the 2015-16 season by claiming the title at the 2016 Big South Men's Golf Championship and finishing in ninth place at NCAA Regionals.
The Flames captured the Big South title with a 12-stroke win over Campbell and finishing 15 strokes ahead of Charleston Southern at The Patriot Golf Club in Ninety Six, S.C., in April. The win gave the Flames their fourth Big South title in the last six seasons.
Liberty advanced to its fifth NCAA Regional in the last six years and seventh overall in program history. The Flames faced the second toughest of the six NCAA Regional sites when they were sent to Albuquerque, N.M., to complete at The Championship Course at the University of New Mexico in May.
Sophomore Isaiah Logue led the Flames during the 2015-16 season, posting a team best 72.62 season stroke average. He was named to the All-Big South team and recently became the program's seventh individual to be named to the PING East All-Region team.
