As the Liberty women's basketball team prepares for matchups with Seton Hall and Duke, Nick Pierce of the Liberty Flames Sports Network caught up with redshirt senior post player Katelyn Adams.
A native of Burnsville, Minn., Adams is leading the 2015-16 Lady Flames in rebounds (8.6 rpg), field goal percentage (.556) and free throw percentage (.850). She recorded back-to-back 15-rebound games against No. 16/15 California (Nov. 28) and Gardner-Webb (Dec. 2), becoming the first Lady Flame with consecutive 15-rebound performances since Avery Warley in 2008-09.
Coming off of a 51-40 triumph over Charleston Southern, Liberty (3-5, 1-1 Big South) will host 7-1 Seton Hall Saturday at 5 p.m.
