Today, Liberty Flames Sports Network's Nick Pierce spent a few minutes with Liberty sophomore baseball player Andrew Yacyk. The two look back at last week's LeClair Classic and ahead to this weekend's first home series of the season against the Bryant Bulldogs.

Yacyk enters the weekend with a .346 batting average and two home runs for the 3-3 Flames. He has started every game of 2015, getting starts at first base, left field and as the designated hitter.
This past Sunday, he collected three hits and belted his second home run of the year in Liberty's 4-3 win over host East Carolina at the Keith LeClair Classic.

Liberty is scheduled to host the Bryant Bulldogs in a four-game series, this weekend at Liberty Baseball Stadium.  The series will be the first home series of 2015 for the Flames. Friday's home opener is scheduled for 3 p.m.
