The Flames will travel to Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., next week for their first tournament of the spring, the 2015 Sea Best Invitational.
The two-day, 54-hole event is hosted by Jacksonville at the TPC Sawgrass – Dye's Valley Course, which will play at 6,977 yards for next week's event (par 71). The Flames are the defending champions of the Sea Best Invitational, but the 2014 event was hosted the Dye's Valley Course sister trek, the world famous TPC Sawgrass – Stadium Course.

The Flames closed out the fall with a runner-up finish at Kennesaw State's Pinetree Intercollegiate. Liberty finished the two-day, 54-hole event with a 6-under par 282, its best 18-hole team total since March 2014.
Senior Mathieu Fenasse was the only returning starter from last year's Big South championship squad and he led the Flames with a 74.00 stroke average during the fall. The native of Lias, France, posted a pair of top 10 finishes, spotlighted by a fifth-place showing at the Shoal Creek Invitational, hosted by UAB.
Freshman Isaiah Logue led the charge for the Flames at the Pinetree Intercollegiate. The rookie carded a 4-under par 212 (73-71-68) and finished in fourth place in the 64-man field. The native of Fairfield, Pa., was named Big South Freshman of the Week following his first collegiate top five finish.
