As the calendar winds down to the final days of 2014, the Liberty Flames Sports Network is looking back at the moments that made this athletics year special for Flames Nation.

The series continues today by looking at Moment No. 6, men's basketball forward Andrew Smith and his eye-catching dunks that landed him on SportsCenter's Top Plays.

Fans have come to love Smith's ability to play above the rim during his first three years with the men's basketball program.

During the 2013-14 season, Smith's acrobatic abilities landed the native of Pompano Beach, Fla., twice on SportsCenter's Top Plays.

The first took place when the forward followed the carom of a missed shot three-point attempt by Tomasz Gielo in a home game against Campbell on Jan. 14. The forward scored 15 points in the game and helped the Flames record a 71-68 victory over the visiting Camels.

The second took place five weeks later when Davon Marshall missed a three-point attempt against Longwood on Feb. 25. The junior collected the rebound and dunked it home with authority for two of his 12 points in the 90-76 win over the Lancers.

Smith finished the season averaging 8.4 points per game and shooting 62.0 percent from the field (111-of-179). He was also one of four players to finish the year with a rebounding average north of five rebounds per game, finishing second on the team with a 5.8 rebounding average.
