Men's Tennis Inks Gutierrez

With the 2015 spring season just around the corner, Liberty Men's Tennis Head Coach Chris Johnson has announced the signing of Eddie Gutierrez to a national letter of intent to attend Liberty University for the 2015-16 academic year.

Gutierrez comes to Lynchburg as a highly sought after recruit. Gutierrez holds a 2-4 record against 5-star athletes as well as a perfect 13-0 record against 3-star recruits and below.

Gutierrez currently lives and trains in the greater Los Angeles, Calif., area. He has won more than six national and international competitions during his young career. Gutierrez has been ranked as high as No. 2 in Mexico as a junior competitor. Gutierrez has also claimed two silver medals in the Mexico Olympics. Not only does Gutierrez work hard on the courts, he also boasts a 4.0 GPA.
