Caroline Douglas has shown determination and perseverance throughout her volleyball career. She battled through injuries during high school and early on in her collegiate career, and has become one of the top players in the Big South Conference. In 2012, her redshirt freshman season, Douglas was named Big South Player of the Year and Big South Freshman of the Year, helping the Lady Flames capture their conference-record seventh Big South postseason championship. After injuries shortened her 2013 season, she has bounced back to lead the Big South in kills this season, earning her second Big South All-Conference first team honor.
Liberty Flames Sports Network (LFSN) recently interviewed Douglas and head coach Shane Pinder. This feature highlights Douglas' journey to Liberty, along with giving a profile on time with the Lady Flames' volleyball program, both on and off the court.
