Fans of the Liberty Lady Flames Women's Basketball team have gotten to know the players on this year's team a little better through a new series entitled "One-On-One With ...".  Today's final installment of the season features a question-and-answer session with senior guard Leslie Jones.

What is your favorite sport to play, other than basketball?

Why did you decide to attend Liberty?
It just felt like it was the right place.

If you could eat dinner with three other people, who would they be and why?
Andre Gould- my boyfriend, because we never get to spend enough time with each other.
My Mom- because I love spending time with her, especially when we go out to eat!
Tim Jones- my little brother, because we do our best talking over lunch.

Who is your favorite band?
Allyson [Fasnacht] and myself, aka Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith!!!! (We started taking guitar lessons together this year.)

Who was your favorite athlete while growing up and who is it now?
Sheryl Swoopes.

Who is your favorite Bible character and why?
Ruth. When everything was going against her, she was still faithful to Naomi and God.

What is one event in history that you wish you could've witnessed?
The signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Who is the most famous person you've met?
Jerry Falwell!

Why did you choose your uniform number?
I've always been a double number (33, 22), so I chose 11.

What is your biggest pet peeve and why?
Mean people. They will only talk about the people they know will say nothing back to them.

What website do you visit the most frequently?
Google and 100silver.

What is your favorite restaurant?
La Villa.

What is the first question you'll ask God when you get to Heaven?
Why do bad things happen to good people?

What DVD do you wear out the most?
Kicking and Screaming, it's sooo funny!

What is the best part about playing on the Liberty women's basketball team?
My teammates. I'm really going to miss them when I leave.

If you could play one-on-one with anyone, who would it be?
My brother, Tim Jones.

What is your favorite store to shop at?

What is the last book you've read, outside of those required for class and the Bible?
Pilot's Wife (I'm a member of Oprah's book club!!)

Where do you see yourself in five years?
Doing something that makes me happy.
