Q&A With Egon Samaai

With only a few matches left in the season, the Liberty Flames tennis team holds a 10-7 (3-3 Big South) overall record. Throughout the remainder of the 2013 season, will provide a look at each of the Flames' players.

Egon Samaai is having an outstanding freshman campaign for Liberty. The Paarl, South Africa native has posted eight singles wins and a team-best 12 doubles victories so far during the spring schedule. Dating back to the fall, Samaai, coupled with Shea Thomas, has 21 doubles wins, placing them in second place all-time on Liberty's single-season record list.

From the Head Coach: "Egon brings a big presence on the court and understands the game very well. That, along with his poise under pressure, will serve him well this year and beyond."
