Friday was travel day for the Liberty women's basketball team, as the Lady Flames trekked from Lynchburg to Louisville, Ky. for the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship.
Liberty's day included a bus ride from campus to Roanoke, a charter flight from Roanoke to Louisville and an afternoon practice in the Derby City.
The No. 13 seed Lady Flames are preparing for an NCAA first-round matchup against No. 4 seed Purdue Sunday at 12:10 p.m. at Louisville's KFC Yum! Center. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN2 and ESPN3.
