The Flames held their first of 15 spring practice workout sessions at Williams Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
Liberty hit the field around 4:20 p.m. for the first time as a team since last November and practiced for roughly two hours under mostly clear skies and some blustery wind conditions.
The Flame will hold a total of four practices this week, starting with today's workout, followed by afternoon practices on Thursday and Friday and a morning workout on Saturday.
Following today's practice, Nick Pierce of the Flames Sports Network talked with Flames Head Coach Turner Gill about his team and what he is looking for from them during the next five weeks of practice.
As a reminder, all of Liberty's weekday afternoon practice sessions (normally 4:20 to 6:30 p.m.) are free and open to the public. The Flames will hold closed practices on Saturday, except when Liberty holds its annual spring football game on April 13 (1 p.m. kickoff).
