Hawks Edge Flames, 3-2, in 11 Innings to Take Both Ends of Twinbill

Chris Callazo's single in the top of the 11th inning scored John Dennis from third base, breaking a 2-2 tie and sending the Monmouth Hawks to a 3-2 victory over the Liberty Flames in game two of a doubleheader. The victory completed a doubleheader sweep by Monmouth, Saturday afternoon at Worthington Stadium.

The Monmouth Hawks got a strong performance from starting pitcher Ryan Buch, and took advantage of a key fielding miscue to score four runs in the fourth inning and down the Liberty Flames, 5-2 in game one of a non-conference doubleheader played Saturday at Liberty's Worthington Stadium.
