Liberty Baseball Lands 12 Student-Athletes

The Liberty University baseball program and head coach Jim Toman announce the signing of twelve student-athletes to national letters of intent for the 2008-09 academic year, during the early NCAA Nov. 14-20 signing period. Highlighting the class is Tyler Bream, son of former Liberty All-American and Major League Player Sid Bream.

A Good Time to be at Liberty

Watch out Big South, here come the Flames. Schools have tried to lure Jim Toman away from South Carolina for years. As the Gamecock hitting coach and recruiting coordinator, Toman received a ton of credit for powerful offensive clubs who put loads of talent into pro ball each season. Toman had his opportunities to leave for a head coaching position but always stayed put. After all, he had a great gig already.
