Liberty Men's Hoops To Participate In 2007 Great Alaska Shootout

Liberty is one of eight teams that will take part in the 2007 Carrs/Safeway Great Alaska Shootout scheduled for Nov. 20-24 at Anchorage's Sullivan Arena. In addition to Liberty, the eight-team field features host Alaska Anchorage, Butler, Gonzaga, Michigan, Texas Tech, Washington State and Western Kentucky.

Larry Blair scored a game-high 23 points taking over 11th all-time on the Big South career scoring list, but it wasn't enough as Liberty (0-1) falls in their season opener to Oklahoma (2-0) at the Lloyd Noble Center, 74-48, on Thursday night.

Liberty Announces Men's Basketball Alumni Reunion

All LU Men's Basketball Alumni, former coaches and support personnel are invited to the inaugural Alumni Reunion on Saturday, December 2, when the Flames face East Carolina. The event will begin with a complimentary pre-game dinner at 5:30 on the Vines Center concourse, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 against East Carolina.
