Winners of four straight, Liberty enters Saturday's game on an offensive roll unlike any other in program history. The Flames rolled up 73 points on VMI last weekend, the second most points scored in program history and the highest against a conference foe since league action opened in 2002. Liberty has won five out of its last six games, giving the Flames a 7-3 overall record.

Liberty University is located just over 200 miles northeast of Elizabethton, Tenn., the hometown of Flames redshirt senior linebacker Vince Redd. Yet, it took Redd quite a while to find his way to Liberty, after taking a circuitous route, which included a stop in Charlottesville. Now that he's here, Redd is leading the Flames football team down a road it's never traveled before, one which is pointing toward a Big South Conference championship.

Liberty University's return specialist Dominic Bolden has been named the College Sporting News National Player of the Week, honoring the junior's record-setting performance against VMI, last Saturday.
Following Liberty's record-setting victory over VMI on Saturday, the Big South Conference named Brock Smith Choice Hotels Offensive Player of the Week and the Flames special teams units Special Teams Player of the Week, on Monday.

The Flames football program will travel to Boiling Springs, N.C., to face Gardner-Webb this Saturday, with a chance at claiming its first-ever Big South Conference championship. The Flames Football Fan Tent will travel to the Gardner-Webb game, giving Flames fans a great deal for food and tickets.
The new partnership between Liberty Athletics and the LU Bookstore titled "Terrific Tuesdays" returns tomorrow, following the Flames' 73-34 victory over VMI.
