Bacon, Nelson Fuel Blue Team's 3-0 Victory Over White

Fans in attendance at the Liberty volleyball team's annual Blue-White Scrimmage, Tuesday evening at the Vines Center, witnessed a fine performance by two shorter-than-average outside hitters on the Blue team. Redshirt junior Jessica Nelson, 5-9, and freshman Karyl Bacon, just 5-6, evenly split 20 kills as the Blue squad recorded a 3-0 victory.

Additionally, sophomore setter Kallie Corbin has earned a spot on the preseason all-conference team, as announced today by the Big South Conference office.
