For the second-consecutive week, Liberty sophomore guard/forward Megan Frazee has been tabbed the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Women's Basketball Player of the Week. She averaged 24.0 ppg and 10.5 rpg while helping the Lady Flames defeat Virginia for the second time in school history and win a road game at Binghamton.

For the second-straight game, the Flames' defense stymied its opponent as Liberty held visiting Houghton College to just 28.1 percent shooting from the field and 46 points in a 92-46 home victory, Saturday evening, at the Vines Center.

Two separate second-half runs, one a 15-2 surge and one a 12-1 burst, broke open a close game and allowed Liberty to defeat Binghamton, 62-45, Saturday afternoon at the Events Center.
Behind the strength of the nation's best win improvement this year, Liberty University Head Football Coach Danny Rocco was named Big South Coach of the Year as announced today by the league, while 14 Liberty players were named to the all-conference teams.

Larry Blair climbed into ninth place on the Big South all-time scoring list as he scored 27 points as Liberty (1-1) defeated Cincinnati Christian (4-4) at the Vines Center on Tuesday night, 101-65.
