Liberty University Athletics continues the 2006-07 Flames Club luncheon season this Friday, at the Williams Football Operations Center.
Over 80 iKids and their siblings enjoyed the iKids Karnival put on by Thomas Road Baptist Church and the Liberty University Council for Exceptional Children, Saturday night, thanks to help from volunteers, including a large contingent from the Liberty Baseball team.
Liberty setter Kallie Corbin has been honored as the New Balance Big South Freshman of the Week after leading the Lady Flames volleyball team into third place in the conference standings with a pair of wins last week. Highlighting Corbin's week was her second career triple-double, which came in Saturday's 3-2 victory over Birmingham-Southern.

The Liberty Lady Flames will open defense of their Big South Women's Soccer Championship against the High Point Panthers in the first round of the upcoming 2006 Big South Women's Soccer Championship Thursday as the pairings for the tournament were announced with the end of conference's regular season this afternoon.

The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers used two passing touchdowns from Tyler Thigpen and a 33-yard scoring run by Aundres Perkins in the fourth quarter to pick up a 28-26 victory over visiting Liberty Flames, Saturday afternoon, at Brooks Stadium.
