The Clarkson Clubhouse features coaching staff office space, player locker rooms, and lounges, meeting rooms, and a picturesque grand lobby that overlooks the Flames' driving range and putting greens. The facility was officially opened with a dedication ceremony during Liberty’s annual Homecoming Weekend (Oct. 3-5, 2014). Before a crowd of more than 100 people, the 4,600-square foot facility was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and remarks from several key individuals. Adjacent to the clubhouse is the Hall-Landrey Coaching Center, which is named in honor of Hall (1984-92) and Frank Landrey (1992-2004), the program's first two head coaches. The 1,200-square-foot teaching facility has four heated hitting bays that will allow for year-round golf instruction and practice. During the ceremony, Liberty Athletics publicly thanked Barry and Pam Clarkson, Jeff and Gaye Benson and Scott and Kelli Overton, the major donors for the facility. The Clarkson's son, Nathan, was a member of the golf team in 2007, while Jeff Benson was a quarterback for Liberty's football team from 1979-82. The Clarkson Clubhouse is located at 707 Lone Jack Road, Rustburg, Va., which is a 10-minute drive from the Liberty University campus on top of Liberty Mountain.
