Liberty’s Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Strength and Conditioning degree is a dynamic program designed to empower you in the field of fitness, wellness, and athletic performance. Our strength and conditioning bachelor’s degree program provides a comprehensive understanding of physiology, kinesiology, and the psychology of exercise. Through a carefully curated blend of practical, hands-on experience and in-depth theoretical study, you can master various skills, including exercise programming, strength training, injury prevention, and athletic performance enhancement. As a student in this program, you can accumulate 510 hours of practicum and internship experience as well as graduate with the opportunity to sit for 2 certification exams.

- This degree program prepares you to sit for the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam.*

Facilities and Resources Available to Strength and Conditioning Students
- Utilize our Human Performance Laboratory and Center for the Analysis of Human Movement Laboratory, which together provide over 8,000 square feet of workspace with state-of-the-art equipment.
- Gain real-world experience through practicums, labs, and internships.
- You will have access to our Functional Assessment Laboratory, which is outfitted with a variety of functional assessment, strength training, and agility equipment housed within an additional 2,000-square-foot area.
Admission Requirements for Our Undergraduate Degree Programs
Every application is reviewed by the admission committee on a case-by-case basis, meaning there are no set minimums for acceptance. However, all applicants must submit the following documents* for admission:
- Admission application
- Official high school transcripts
- Official college transcripts (if applicable)
- Results from the CLT, SAT, or ACT are not required for admission, but may be used in consideration for merit-based aid.
