The study of life is a valuable and important subject as it affects other areas of study like medicine, psychology, and politics. When you pursue a degree in biology, you’re learning all the scientific intricacies of how life began and how it currently functions.

A biology degree enables you to enter various positions related to biology such as biotechnology, laboratory work, scientific research, environmentalism, and veterinary. Once you successfully complete this degree, you’ll be prepared to immediately enter the workforce, or pursue graduate programs in various medical disciplines.

Admission Requirements for Our Undergraduate Degree Programs

Every application is reviewed by the admission committee on a case-by-case basis, meaning there are no set minimums for acceptance. However, all applicants must submit the following documents* for admission:

  • Admission application
  • Official high school transcripts
  • Official college transcripts (if applicable)
  • Results from the CLT, SAT, or ACT are not required for admission, but may be used in consideration for merit-based aid.
  • Admission essay

*Note that additional documentation may be requested by the admission committee after your application has been received.

On-Campus Facilities and Resources Available to Biology Students

  • As a biology student, you will complete multiple labs where you’ll receive hands-on training that will prepare you for the workforce or graduate school.
  • You will have multiple opportunities to be involved in research projects with faculty as an undergraduate student.
