Biography

Dr. Megan Cordes serves as an Online Chair, Assistant Professor at Liberty University and a Subject Matter Expert over EDUC 746 Conflict Resolutions and EDUC 730 Issues and Trends in Learning Technologies. She began her teaching career in public education teaching 6th and 8th-grade math and science.  She transitioned into higher education through teaching developmental math courses and Foundations of Education courses at Coastal Carolina Community College in North Carolina, developmental math courses at Hawaii Pacific University in Hawaii, and developmental math courses at Windward School for Adults in Hawaii.  Following her husband’s transition out of the Marine Corps, Dr. Cordes and her family moved to Lynchburg.  She enjoyed working as the Evening Supervisor in the Math Emporium and the Director of Interdisciplinary Studies at Liberty University prior to transitioning into her current role.
