As an Associate Athletic Director, Kyle is responsible for all the financial processes within the department, including all Club Sport teams. His goal is to provide both financial and administrative support for all Club Sport teams to ensure success in the classroom and the field of competition.
Kyle played Lacrosse at Liberty from 2003-2006 and earned all-conference recognition for 2 season while holding the title of Team President and Captain. Since being named head coach in 2011, the men’s lacrosse team has a record of 80 wins and 36 losses in the past 8 seasons, including an SELC (South Eastern Lacrosse Conference) Div2 Championship in 2013. Coach McQuillan is also a two time recipient of the SELC coach of the year. Liberty enters the 2018/19 season with the national preseason ranking of # 6 in its 6th year of competition within Div1 of the MCLA (Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association).
Liberty overcame a 4-0 deficit, getting 7 goals from graduate attack Carter Elliott and clutch saves by graduate goalie Ryan Reynolds to improve to 5-0 before Friday's home clash with No. 2 Clemson.
