    22Jordan Dickinson

Class: Senior Position: D Height: 5'8 Weight: 145 Hometown: Moncton, NB

Like a typical Canadian, Jordan learned to skate before he could read and was first enrolled in hockey as a young, first grade toddler. Jordan was dedicated and blessed enough to live in a home that allowed him to play high levels of hockey all through his childhood and adolescence. However, at the beginning of his freshman year of high school, Jordan turned down an offer to play AAA hockey in order to focus on basketball. By his sophomore year, Jordan was selected to play on his high school’s varsity basketball team and was consequently faced with the decision to choose between the two sports. He chose basketball, captaining the team in his junior and senior year as they went on to a top four finish in the province. Upon graduation, Jordan decided to attend Liberty University, dusted off his old hockey equipment, and laced up his skates for the first time in three years. Jordan is thankful for the opportunity he has had leave his province of New Brunswick in order to play hockey and earn a degree at the largest Christian university in the world. He is a senior honors student studying Business Administration and is planning to attend law school upon graduation. Fun fact: Jordan was also MVP of his high school football team and received interest from several Canadian universities, but, in his own words, “how can you turn down a Liberty University education?”
