Avonlea Lauren Kisner grew up in the small town of Pleasant Prarie Wisconsin. She was an all star athlete in high school competing in basketball, soccer, volleyball, cross country, and track! She transferred to Liberty from Marantha in Wisconsin where she was a starting point guard her freshman year on the women's basketball team. She chose to come to Liberty because she wanted a change of scenery and knew that Liberty had a equestrian team. Her aunt started letting her use her horse for 4H horseless horse until her parents finally bought her her own horse in 2005. When the White Sox won the World Series. She went from local to AQHA shows in Wisconsin as well as Virginia and placed well in showmanship. Last year she let her horse Riley represent Liberty at a few IHSA shows where she was nominated for horse of the year. She attributes her parents for being such great supporters of her as well as her previous trainer Mikey Staples for being an incredible influence on her riding. Avonlea plans to graduate in 2018 with a major in Business Administration: Project Management, and eventually own her own barn and compete in the All American Quarter Horse Congress Freestyle reining class.
