Liberty’s 634 student-athletes competing on one or more of the 41 distinct Club Sports teams maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.35 for the Spring 2022 semester, establishing a new program record high.
Club Sports partnered with the Flames Club to join Liberty University's annual Giving Day on Wednesday, with over 300 student-athletes generating excitement at a Games Night in the LaHaye Ice Center.
Director of Strength and Conditioning Chris Kerr said the overarching goal of the program is in line with the university's holistic mission of developing mind, body, and spirit.
A total of 35 teams ended the semester with GPAs of 3.0 or better while 265 student-athletes made the Dean's List for 3.5 GPAs or higher, including 105 with a perfect 4.0.
Athletic, academic, coaching, and service awards were presented, recognizing outstanding efforts and commitment to building a first-class Club Sports program.
