Outstanding student-athletes, coaches, and spiritual leaders in Liberty’s Club Sports department were recognized at Wednesday night’s annual gala held in the Center for Music and Worship Concert Hall.
Club Sports partnered with the Flames Club to join Liberty University's annual Giving Day on Wednesday, with over 300 student-athletes generating excitement at a Games Night in the LaHaye Ice Center.
Guided by Liberty University's Club Sports Spiritual Development staff, students gained leadership skills on a two-day discipleship retreat to Smith Mountain Lake.
Director of Strength and Conditioning Chris Kerr said the overarching goal of the program is in line with the university's holistic mission of developing mind, body, and spirit.
The 11 Flames and Lady Flames competing in the SASP Collegiate National Championships in Talladega all placed individually or as a team in the rifle or pistol divisions.
