Gable Price and Friends to perform at Liberty

Gable Price and Friends is set to perform Saturday, April 1, at 8 p.m. in the LaHaye Event Space with featured acts Alexander Pappas and South Chase Ave.

This alternative rock and roll band started recording demos in its garage in Northern California. Gable Price, Cameron Pablo, Daniel Vargas and Adam Elizararraz are hitting the road on a nationwide tour. The group has recently signed with Capitol CMG, which is the label for artists like TobyMac, Jeremy Camp and other popular Christian artists.

“Gable Price and Friends know(s) how to put together a memorable experience for both loyal and new fans alike,” Jordan Hassler, Student Activities supervisor, said. “Current fans know what to expect from their performances, and those who may not be familiar with the band have an opportunity to find some of their new favorite music. We’re really excited for students to come out and partake in all they have to offer.”

Lead singer, Gable Price, has been playing music since age 6, when his father taught him how to play the electric guitar. The band just released its new album, “The Consequences of Being Alive,” on Nov. 11.

“Gable Price and Friends has actually become more frequent faces around Liberty’s campus in the past few semesters, and students have always responded really well,” Hassler said. “It becomes a no-brainer when you have an artist with the level of professionalism and talent like Gable Price and Friends who is so well received by students. We’re very thankful for the opportunity we have to work with them.”

Liberty Student Activities has hosted many concerts over the years with artists like Colony House and
Chris Renzema.

“Live music is always a great opportunity for students to gather with their friends and actively engage in something special instead of simply passively consuming it. I believe this show will create that opportunity for every student that comes,”
Hassler said.

Liberty students can purchase a ticket for this show for $12 by going to the Student Activities website. Non-Liberty guests can head to the same site and purchase a ticket for $15.
