Student Activities hosts Andy Mineo, Christian rap artist, in the LaHaye Event Space Sep. 13

Andy Mineo held a concert at the LaHaye Event Center this Friday, the third time he has performed for Liberty University

 A purple haze of thick fog and neon lights filled the air. “It feels so good to be back here, Liberty,” Mineo said. Thunderous applause and shouting followed. Mineo’s performance was opened by KHAM, a Christian rapper, who warmed up the crowd with bassy, funky songs that got watchers jumping up and down and
shouting back lines.

The set of songs that Mineo performed that evening went through classics that fans could rap and sing along to, as well as an entirely new piece. The song “Coming In Hot,” performed well into the set, had the crowd jumping up and down, shouting lyrics as Mineo pointed the mic towards them.
