Here’s where we’re at with the delegate count. Some candidates are even threatening to skip the Republican Nation Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, which is expected to be … well, not conventional. There’s growing tension between the Republican party and its top candidate—Donald Trump! Even a couple of Trump’s children won’t be voting for him in the primary—but that may be because of New York’s voter registration laws. How will we ever explain the 2016 election to the youth?

Al Jazeera Leaving U.S.
Maybe the American dream isn’t for everyone? On August 20, 2013, the network went live in the states, but announced that they would be shutting down their U.S. operations by April 30, with their final U.S broadcast coming on April 12. The network’s most notable story to catch wind over the past few months was one that alleged NFL legend Peyton Manning, among others, used a banned substance. Manning denied the claims, and filed a lawsuit against the network, but not before it stirred things up. Lackluster ratings and internal conflict plagued the 32-month run, though they did still garner the support and praise of many including Emmys and Peabody.

After 20 years of greatness, Kobe Bryant laced up for one last time in the Staples Center as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Utah Jazz, 101-96. Bryant dropped 60 points in one of the most incredible performances of his career. Back in November 2015, he announced in a Player’s Tribune post that the 2015-2016 season would be his last, and the entire season has been his farewell to the game. Bryant’s final season in LA has involved losing, and lots of it, as well as childishness amongst his teammates. But the NBA MVP, two time Finals MVP, five time NBA Champion and two time Team USA Gold medalist has done enough to leave a lasting legacy on the game of basketball. Mamba out.

The suspect has a criminal record and is being investigated for possible similar crimes in the area.

Starbucks changes
