Thanksgiving is full of more than just side dishes and entrées. It’s jammed packed with the NFl’s best.

To kick things off, the Detroit Lions will host the Green Bay Packers at 12:30 p.m. on FOX.
Led by Super Bowl XLV MVP Aaron Rodgers, the Packers hope to stay undefeated against Matthew Stafford and a young and finally relevant Lions team.

Dallas will be hosting Miami at 4:15p.m. on CBS. This rivalry has evolved since the 90s. Past matchups include a Dolphins victory in 2003 of 40-21, Cowboys victory in 1999 of 20-0 and 1993’s Miami victory of 16-14. As history would have it, this matchup would repeat itself.

The Baltimore Ravens will host the San Francisco 49ers at 8:20p.m. on NFL Network. The Ravens are considered AFC elite almost every year, while the 49ers are starting to make headway in the NFC West.

Black Friday also aims to give NHL fans a showdown of Stanley Cup champions. The Boston Bruins and the Detroit Red Wings will matchup at 1p.m. on NBC. The NHL will also debut a co-sponsored float during the Macy’s Day Parade as part of promotion for the game.

Other notable games include the Houston Dynamo taking on the LA Galaxy for the MLS Cup championship, Nov. 20, the annual Big 12 showdown between the University of Texas and Texas A&M University for a year’s worth of bragging rights, and Liberty competing in the 2K Sports Classic against Lehigh, Eastern Kentucky and William & Mary Nov. 18-20.
