Family Weekend
Family Weekend is the main attraction for current LU Family!
Current students’ family members are invited to enjoy what the campus and surrounding Lynchburg area have to offer, and do it together. Meet other families, too, while you are enjoying the talent at the LU Theatre, tubing the mountain at Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre, bowling the lanes at Montview Bowling Center, or paddling around the lake at Liberty Mountain Hydaway Outdoor Center.

Welcome Week Parent & Family Session is an opportunity to hear from the key departments on campus that help you and your student’s first semester. These departments are selected by parent survey and matched to some of the most-often-asked questions we receive from parents. It’s our opportunity to help you transition to being a college family at Liberty. The Parent and Family Session has a livestream option if you are unable to attend in person.
