Liberty Natatorium

The Liberty Natatorium is a state-of-the-art 75,000 square foot facility. It has a seating capacity of 1,400, with wraparound, three-sided bowl seating located along the 25-yard racing portion of the pool where collegiate competitions take place. The facility is home to Liberty University’s NCAA Division I women’s swimming & diving team and the men's club swimming program, while also attracting students and community members of all ages.

Pool and Dive Well

The Natatorium pool is 7 feet deep and 9 lanes across. With a movable bulkhead, the pool can be adjusted into a 50 meter (long course pool) or 2, 25 yard (short course) pools. The pool is kept at 72-82 degrees.

Dive Well

The separate 17 foot dive well includes 1 and 3 meter springboards and a three-column tower, featuring 1, 3, 5, 7.5 and 10 meter platforms. A surface agitator and a sparger system under all three tower columns ensures diver safety while training. The dive well is kept at 85-86 degrees and is 25 yards by 25 yards, allowing for 8 lanes to be added when necessary.
