Liberty University's equestrian program had nine of its riders — five from the Hunter Seat team and four from the Western squad — receive National All-Academic honors from the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA), the sanctioning body of collegiate equestrian.

Three from each discipline — Hunter Seat freshmen Emily Chafins and Rebecca Oldham and junior Cassandra Steptoe as well as Western freshmen Amber Dixon, Hannah Peterson, and Leah Ofalt — earned first-team recognition for maintaining grade-point averages (GPAs) of 3.8 or higher throughout their academic careers.

Hunter Seat sophomore Zoe Leppke and junior Heather Meade joined Western rider Micah Armbrust, a senior and the lone male representative, in earning IHSA Academic All-America second-team status by achieving GPAs of 3.5 or better.
