Keepers of the Flame: Men's triathlete Jonathan Odom test test test test

Jonathan Odom, a member of Liberty University's men's triathlon team, shares his favorite Scripture verse on this week's segment of "Keepers of the Flame."

A senior from Chicago, Odom's favorite verse is 1 Samuel 12:24, which reads: "Be sure to fear the Lord and serve Him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things He has done for you."

He applies it to his life on a daily basis and meditates on it when he competes in triathlons, representing the Flames for the glory of God.

"I just think of everything God's done for me, whether it's giving me a body and just being able to use it for His glory or whether it's dying on the cross for me and living faithfully every single day just for Him," Odom said.

As Club Sports Video Coordinator Gabe Henderson, who produced the segment, adds, "God has done so many great things that we can be thankful for. All He asks is for us to serve Him faithfully and with all of our hearts. If we keep God at the forefront of everything we do, He will continually bless us."
