Keepers of the Flame: Synchronized skater Emily Hautbois
November 2, 2015 | Lynchburg, Va.
Dealing with injuries over the past two seasons hasn't discouraged Liberty University synchronized skater and figure skater Emily Hautbois, subject of this week's Club Sports segment of "Keepers of the Flame." She takes heart in her favorite Scripture verse, found in Philippians 1:6: "Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
The junior from Fairfax, Va., who started competitive figure skating at the age of 13 and also began playing ice hockey as a junior in high school, expressed confidence that, with God's help, she and her teammates will accomplish everything they set their minds to in the coming season and throughout their careers at Liberty and beyond.
