South Korean born Korean-American, Scotty Curlee is a graduate of Liberty University with a degree in Exercise Science and an MBA from Averett University. Scotty's career as an athlete spans over 18 years competing in the disciplines of road, triathlon, mountain-bike, and adventure racing.
He has competed in the 1992 Olympic trials in cycling and was a bronze medalist in the 1996 Virginia State mountain-biking championship. His career highlights include competing as a member of "Team Kaizen" in the "Mega-Dose", a 4 day non-stop adventure race with legendary ultra-marathon runner, David Horton conquering over 76,000 ft. of elevation change with 1 hour of sleep per night.
Scotty resides in Forest Virginia and is a professor in the Department of Cinematic Arts at Liberty University.
