Biography
Dr. Theresa Allen is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of South Carolina, a national certified counselor (NCC), and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. She has been in private practice since 2014. The name of her practice is The Well Life — based off of the John 4:14 Scripture passage. Dr. Allen is a CBT therapist who works from an integrative developmental and attachment-informed framework. Her private practice focuses primarily on recovery from marital infidelity and women’s issues.
Prior to joining the Liberty University faculty, Dr. Allen has worked as an adjunct professor, served as a guest lecturer, and served as the Women’s Director for a non-profit, faith-based, residential program for men and women with drug and alcohol addictions. Dr. Theresa Allen teaches students from all over the country who are pursuing an online counseling degree at Liberty University.
